This is a topical selection given all the recent news about Greece going down the tubes financially. This stately garden dates back to 1838, and is well known in Greece as the setting of the famous “monkey bite” suffered by King Alexander. Winston Churchill once said it was no exaggeration to say this monkey bite changed the course of Greek history. I have always wanted to visit Athens and if I ever do I’d love to have the chance to mow here.
