Even though New York City is generally speaking kind of a cesspool, and nearly everything about it (outside of crime, avarice, and vanity) is over rated, Central Park is nonetheless a legitimate entry on any “must mow” list. The grounds themselves are of only modest quality, but they benefit from the contrast with the grime and filth of the general surroundings (i.e., the city and often its inhabitants). Consequently, the maintenance of these grounds does not require the highest level of skill. However, if nothing else, if one is able to say “I mowed in Central Park” it does speak to your bravery and willingness to look danger in the face, and to your passion for this thing we call mowing.
